May 26, 1972 – October 5, 2026
Krista Louise Fronek was born on May 26, 1972, in Apple Valley, California. She dedicated 21 years of her life to serving her community as a respiratory therapist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, California.
Krista had a special passion for caring for the tiniest and most vulnerable patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She understood the importance of caring for those who could not speak for themselves, and her work touched the lives of countless families during some of their most difficult and uncertain moments. Her dedication to her profession reflected her strength, resilience, and commitment to helping others.
Krista was strong, tough, and resilient, shaped by the many challenges she faced throughout her life. She had her own way of showing she cared, and while she might not always have said the words or made a fuss, her actions spoke for themselves. When someone she loved needed her, she found a way to be there. Her loyalty ran deep, and those who knew her best understood that they could count on her when it mattered most.
Krista leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her stepmother, Kim Fronek; her two sons, Brandon Craig and Brian Fronek; and her beloved grandson, Grayson Craig. She is also survived by her sisters, Senice Witt and her husband, Timothy Witt, and Holly Larison and her husband, Shawn Larison; her brothers, Jerry Newland and Brice Fronek and his wife, Shannon.
Krista dedicated 21 years to caring for others, bringing comfort and hope to families when they needed it most. The compassion she showed through her work and the strength she carried through her own life are part of the legacy she leaves behind.
Though her life ended far too soon, Krista’s story is one of strength, perseverance, and loyalty. She was a fighter who faced life’s challenges in her own way, a mother and grandmother whose place in her family can never be replaced, and a sister whose presence will be deeply missed. The memories she leaves behind and the lives she touched will continue to be a part of her story for years to come.
Krista will be remembered for her strength, her toughness, her unwavering loyalty, and the love she showed in her own way. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Rival Church, 8787 Sahara Road, Phelan, California 92371. Family and friends are welcome to join us in honoring her life and memory.
