Lian Woodruff

Jinlian Liang Woodruff, also known as Lian Woodruff, was born on December 28, 1954 to Ru Qin Liang and Yu Ying Huang in LianZhou, Hepu County, China. She was one of 5 children born of this union. She departed this life on June 5, 2022 in Adelanto, CA.

Jinlian graduated from college in China with the equivalent of a BA in Foreign Trade & Economics with a minor in English in 1984. She worked as a radio announcer from 1971-1978. From 1978-1995 she worked in sales export and as a buyer. Jinlian moved to the United States from Guangzhou. China in 1995. She worked as an Import & Export marketing manager in San Clemente, Ca from 1995-1997. Lian was self employed from 1997 until her retirement in 2018, working first with her husband Larry Woodruff and then alone after his death until her retirement.

Jinlian married the love of her life, Larry John Woodruff, on December 31,1997 in Hesperia. Lian and Larry enjoyed many activities together, including all things to do with motorcycles, traveling, and spending time with their family, beloved dogs, and friends. Lian became an American citizen on October 20th 2004. Lian enjoyed cooking and spent many hours creating dishes that were truly a work of art. She enjoyed American holidays (especially Christmas), nature and photography. Larry preceded her in death on June 26, 2015. Lian cherished and honored his memory, and their love, for the remainder of her life. She was a resident of the ‘High Desert’ for 25 years, living in Phelan with Larry, and finally settling in Adelanto, CA, where she resided at the time of her death. Lian enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends.

Jinlian was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Larry John Woodruff; her parents,Ru Qin Liang and Yu Ying Huang Liang; and her brother, Guangpei Liang and 2 of her beloved dogs. She is survived by her brother Guangrui (Wu Huiping), sisters; Jinqui (Liang) and Jinyan Huang (Jinguang);brother-in-law, Terry Woodruff (Cindy); her loving nieces and nephews:Beibei Liang, Ziwei Shen (Jiaxin Qin), Yu Huang (Jingjing Tang), Mara Greiner, Dustin Woodruff (Jeanne Creel), Patrick Greiner (Jennifer Steimer), Kateri Cassube (Nate), Tara Woodruff; great niece and nephews, Junying Shen, Anjali Vick, Zalen Steimer Greiner, and Miles Cassube. Lian’s legacy extends outward through a loving network of family and friends.

金莲梁小草，又名连小草，1954年12月28日出生于中国兰州，出生于中国兰州。她是这个工会出生的 5 个孩子之一。她于 2022 年 6 月 5 日在加利福尼亚州阿德兰蒂离世。
