Loren Robert Wendt a resident of San Bernardino County for over 26 years was called home by the Lord on February 14, 2015. He was born on November 15, 1927 in Kansas to his parents Charles and Selma. Loren worked for the Gas Company for over 35 years. Loren was a caring and compassionate individual that always sought out ways to help those in need. He enjoyed writing cowboy poetry. He was invited on many occasions to speak at colleges to lecture on the Old West. The thing that brought Loren the most joy was the time spent with his family. Family gatherings were always made special by the magic tricks he often performed for them. He is survived by his wife: Betty. His two sons: Mark and Doug. Also left to cherish the memory of their grandfather are his grandchildren: Derek, Dylan, Erin, Brian, and Kevin. Loren will be missed by his family and friends especially by his great-great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Matthew, and Audrey. The services are under the direction of Desert View.
