Marilyn attended George Clem High School where she was very active . She was also homecoming queen in her senior year of high school. She proudly rode on a float in the parade on August 8th Day in Greenville, TN which is the celebration of the day African Americans were emancipated from slavery in Tennessee.
She moved to Los Angeles, California and married the love of her life Charles (Chuck) David Kyle October 15, 1957. To this union two children were born, Tara Monique and Antoine Leveque. She enjoyed a beautiful life. She worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for many years as a Teacher’s Assistant until she retired. She loved decorating, helping people in need, making people laugh, watching CNN and the Discovery ID channel, but above all she loved her family.
Marilyn fought a hard fight and God knew she was tired. Marilyn lost the love of her life, Charles (Chuckie) in April of 2018, and on September 25, 2020 in Victorville, California, Her Precious Lord took her hand and led her home to be reunited with him. We love our mother very much and she will be truly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Tara Monique, son Antoine Leveque (Wanda), grandson Stephan, and granddaughter Wendi; her brother Bobby (Stella) of Sylmar, California, a sister Nancy Anderson of East St. Louis, Illinois, two sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Frank Webster Jr. and Richard Webster and sister Virginia Levi.
