Mario Escalante, 56, of Apple Valley, California, passed away peacefully in Victorville on May 19 2025, at 4:24 a.m.

Born on July 26, 1968, Mario was a devoted son, beloved uncle, loyal friend, and a proud member of the High Desert community. A lifelong 49ers fan, Mario approached life with the same passion and dedication he had for his team.

He worked as an auto mechanic, using his hands and heart to help others with accuracy and skill. Beyond his profession, Mario was a committed caregiver to his parents, offering them steadfast love, care, and support throughout their lives.

Those who knew Mario will remember him as the faithful one —someone who could be counted on without question. He had a quiet strength and a kind spirit that drew people close. His nieces and nephews adored him, and he played a special role in their lives as a source of unconditional love.

Mario's absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and selflessness.
