Max “Sonny” Custer of Hesperia CA, passed away on November 6th, 2014. He was born in Texas and in 1958, joined the US Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Mackenzie.
Max worked for Service Rock Products as a concrete mixer truck driver for over 30 years. He was a country music entertainer, street rod enthusiast, RC air plane operator and a supportive husband, father and friend.
Max is survived by Aleta Custer, his wife of 52 years, son and daughter in-law Lane and Stacey Custer, son-in-law and daughter Richard and Samantha Scobie. Grandchildren Melisa Custer, Myles Custer (US Navy), Jeremy Gilliatt (US Navy), Chase Gilliatt, Jeff and Jenny Scobie.
Viewing services will be held Friday November 14th, 2014 from 10:00am to Noon with grave side services at 12:30 pm at Desert View Funeral Home 11478 Amargosa Rd, Victorville, CA 92392.
