Micaela was born November 25, 1928 in Detroit Michigan to the late Miguel & Paula Hernandez. She was one of 9 children, 8 preceded her in death and Her surviving sister Bela Pacheco.
Micaela married the late Ruben Vargas in 1950 and 8 children were born from this union. Two preceded her in death, Rudy Vargas & Mike Vargas.
Micaela was a hard worker, working beside her father and brothers in the fields of Fresno, CA. Retired from St. Marys Hospital in housekeeping, in 1990. Devoted mother, grandmother (Lita), great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
Micaela leaves to cherish in loving memory her children, Ruben (Cecilia) Vargas, Rual (Linda) Vargas, Linda Mendoza, Paul (Pam) Vargas, Terri Vargas (her daughter-in-law), Lupe Vargas, Elvia (Allan) Still. As well as her 29 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
