Patricia Walter (Curran), a longtime member of the High Desert community since 1946 and a graduate of the VVHS Class of '53, passed away on January 16, surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her family, children, and grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Glenn Walter II. Pat, as she was known to most, cared for the High Desert as an operating room nurse at Victor Valley Community Hospital from 1977. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Services will be held at Victor Valley Memorial Park on February 4 at 11 a.m.
