Paul Tighe was born in Alhambra and raised in El Monte, California. He was Robert and Edna Tighe’s firstborn child. The Tighe family relocated to the High Desert when Paul was fifteen. He graduated from Victor Valley High School in 1963. Paul began his career as a truck driver in the mid-sixties by driving an asphalt truck for his parents. Max Binswanger, Apex, and Lumberjack are among the companies he drove for. Throughout his life, Paul was most proud of his faith in God and his family. He enjoyed spending his time coaching his son’s Baseball team. Paul’s hobbies included Drag-Racing. He was proud of the many races he won at the GAFB Racetrack. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing trips with his son and granddaughters. He leaves behind Nancy Tighe, his wife, and his two children Laura and Steven. Mourning beside them are his grandchildren Jessi Delaney, Carly Tighe, Amber Tighe, Payton Tighe, and his great-grandson, Jamal Newman. His siblings Linda (Dennis) Seidenglanz, Tim (Nicki) Tighe, Carol (Bill) Crane, mourn the loss of their brother. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Tighe. Paul Tighe was a kind and gentle man that left behind treasured memories. He is fondly missed.
