It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Doyle Chambler of Oak Hills, California, announce his passing on November 18, 2020. Bob, as he was known by his family and friends, was born in Chico, California to P. Glen and Lou Etta Chambler on June 10, 1948. He was the third of four children, preceded in death by an older brother Glen, and younger sister Lana. Bob is survived by his older sister Bonnie. Bob graduated from Chico High School in 1966. After graduation, he moved to El Cajon, California. In 1967, Bob met the love of his life, Elaine Levi. They were married on April 5, 1969 and stayed married until his passing. Bob was a lifelong general contractor. He was a master at building cold storage facilities all over the United States, and mainly in and around the Los Angeles area, and Southern California. He and Elaine started their own construction company in 1999, Controlled Climate Construction, which is a successful kingdom business today. Besides building things, Bob had a passion for all things off road - dune buggies, motorcycles and side by sides. Bob attended the Solid Rock Church in Oak Hills, California. He had a huge heart for his church family. Bob sacrificed and served in his humble commitment on the mission field. His focus was the children, and he spent hours giving of his time, talents and finances as he traveled the world on numerous missions trips effecting change wherever he went. He is survived by his wife Elaine, children, Bobby Chambler and his wife Sue, David Chambler and his wife Nancy, and Millie Brinson and her husband Todd, grandchildren, Ryan Chambler, Tevyn Chambler, Maurya Brinson, Ashley Chambler, Austin Chambler, Teyah Elayne Brinson, step grandchildren, Domenic Brinson, Jessica Hill, Katrina Giardina, Anthony Giardina, great grandchildren, Zander Chambler, Monica Chambler, Gavin Chambler, Martin Chambler, Aaliyah Brinson, Aalysha Brinson, step great grandchildren Alexys Hill, Mackenzie Hill.
A Celebration of his life is scheduled for early January 2021.
