We are heartbroken to announce that our father, Robert Millard Thompson, left this world August 26, 2022 at the age of 85 (but he quit counting years ago). His love, laughter, charity, and joy will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors alike.
“Bob” was preceded in death by his loving parents and 2 greatly missed grandchildren. Bob is survived by his brother, sister, and wonderful wife of 61+ years, along with their 5 children, 23 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, 1 more on the way soon (not to mention countless numbers of Scouts whom he mentored and they looked to him as a father figure).
He loved everything outdoors and in, always had a positive attitude, patience, a supportive nature no matter how crazy the “project” may have been, and always generous, being willing to help on a moment's notice.
