Our parents lived a full and exciting life. They met when she was 12 years old and that was the beginning of a wonderful filled life together for 59 years.. Frank past away, in 2004 and Rose always kept strong, witty, full of life and love of family, carried on for 13 more years. She never stopped living. She still made fig cookies, cannoli's, pasta, worked for her church and kept us all laughing and feeling unconditionally loved. Together they raised three children, loved all 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. They had many nieces, nephews, great and great great, that they loved and made feel special.
She loved to visit with friends and family, play cards, cook and tell stories to her grandchildren. In her late seventies to mid eighties she traveled to Alaska with her daughter and son in law, she went to Chicago, Texas Tennessee to visit family and grandchildren. Her final trip was to our family reunion in Colorado where all of us were able to spend time with her and hear family stories. What a blessing for all of us. She was always there for all of us, no matter what. Never slowing down Always full of love, life and ever ending laugh and wit.
To our family, she loved you all equally and unconditionally. To her friends and ours,, she treated you as family. Everyone she met loved her.
Her children, Millie, Frank and Rosalie thank you for sharing her celebration of life with us. Although we will never be able to fill the void left by her passing, she will forever live with us in our hearts and minds. Now she is with the love of her life, her soul mate, with our Dad in heaven.
If any of you would prefer to donate in her name, rather than flowers, please give to the Knights of Columbus at Holy Innocents Church in Victorville California.
Thank you all for remembering our Mom.
