It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Salvador Richard Gomez, lovingly known as Sal and Bogie, who passed away on September 15, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will love and miss him forever.

Born on January 6, 1966, in Montebello, California, Sal was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, Nino and friend. He was a man who found comfort in the simple things in life, and his presence brought something special to the people around him.

One of the places he loved most was his garage, where he could spend his time just chilling, listening to music with the TV on even if he couldn’t hear the TV. Those moments were part of who he was, and they are memories his family will always treasure.

Sal leaves behind his loving wife, Kathy, and his three children, Michelle, Steven, and Sarah, who will forever carry his love and memory in their hearts.

He was also a proud grandfather to his five grandchildren, Irene, Ritchie, Evelyn, Mikio, and Arielle, who brought joy and love into his life. His grandchildren will forever carry his memory in their hearts and cherish the memories they shared with their grandpa

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that his love, laughter, and memories will live on through his family. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
