Susan Louise Ballard, who never willingly took a day off work, is now at rest having passed away at the age of 66 in the morning of the 7th of May. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Chris, and her children; Richard (and wife Amanda), Nancy, and Lucien, her grandchildren; Addison, Brooklyn, William, and Ciaran, and her siblings and their spouses; Tommy and Carla Deem, Beverly and David Bates, Niki and Charles Garrett, and Fran and Jack Williams, as well as countless nieces, nephews, and family members, as well as her extended family of students, teachers, and faculty, at Silverado High School, where she taught for twenty years.
In her memory, a scholarship to benefit the study of culinary arts and fashion has been started and donations can be arranged by contacting Amanda Buchanan at Silverado High School.
Services celebrating her incredible life will be held at Calvary Chapel at 15081 Center St, Victorville at 7 pm on Thursday, 10 May.
