He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Maureen, son Ryan Tague, with his wife Erin, daughter Katie Villegas, granddaughter Adalynn Villegas, and grandson Dylan Tague. He is also survived by his parents, Lee and Glee Tague, sister Sharon Shultz, with husband Larry, brother Robert Tague, with wife Susie. He also had 3 sisters-in-law, Diane Aquino, with husband Wayne, Kathy Smith, with Keith Smith, and Charlene Forth.
Tom grew up in Hawthorne, CA and went to Hawthorne High School, where he played Varsity golf. He then went on to El Camino Junior College and received his AA degree. Having gone on to California State University, Long Beach, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He worked for over 30 years in the accounting and finance field. Tom was brilliant in math and statistics. He met his wife, Maureen, in 1978 and married in 1981. They had two children, Ryan, age 34 and Katie, age 31. Tom was a loving family man. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing, golfing and watching sports, either live or on TV, especially USC Trojan football. He also loved to participate in his kids’ youth sports activities like soccer, basketball and tee-ball. When his grandchildren came along, they were the light of his life.
Tom was a religious man and participated in his Catholic Church, Christ the Good Shepherd, as an usher and serving on the finance committee. He was also a third degree Knight of Columbus and cared deeply about his brother Knights.
Tom and Maureen lived for 30 years in the Antelope Valley in California before settling in Helendale, CA in 2016, where Maureen resides now. He is thoroughly loved and will be truly missed.
