TJ Losenegger, aged 77, passed away on June 2, 2026 at his home in Apple Valley, California. TJ was born on July 6, 1948 in Racine, Wisconsin. TJ is survived by his wife of 55 years, Emily (Lienhardt); his precious dog, Rocky, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his adoptive mother and father, Walter and Hilda Losenegger, and his three brothers: Donald, Dean and Walter.
TJ was raised in Mt. Vernon, Wisconsin and graduated from Mt. Horeb High School in 1966. After graduation, he volunteered for the service in the United States Air Force. TJ was most proud of his training as a combat engineer in the Red Horse Division as well as his service in Vietnam. Post Vietnam, he was stationed at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Upper Michigan. It was here he proposed to his high school sweetheart, Emily. They eloped on Valentines Day 1971.
TJ and Emily spent their early years in the Madison area and New Glarus, Wisconsin before moving to Apple Valley, California in 1987. TJ’s creative mind and mechanical knowledge allowed him to engage many interesting careers in the technical field.
He lived his life to the fullest. As a young man, he was a parachutist. Motorcycling was another one of his passions. When he moved to California, he became a member of the Apple Valley Gun Club, where he made many friends.
Emily would like to thank family and friends for their support at this time. Following TJ’s wishes, he was cremated and there will not be a ceremony at this time.
