I only knew you for a few years but  I wish it had been longer.  I came to love you because of the wonderful, kind, witty and lovable person you are.  I will truly miss you and your "green thumb!"

What a wonderful Aunt. You treated me so good when I was a child. I would visit you over the years and you would always be happy to see me. I was always "Jimito" to you all  thru the years. I am so  thankful I got to see you not too long ago. Say hello to my Dad. Love you  Jimito

My memories of you are mostly of my youth, although I have a picture of you on my work computer screen that I see daily. Your positive look on life was amazing and I think you gave a piece of that the everyone you made contact with.  As we all age we reflect on our past and Im happy to say you were part of that. My Dearest Aunt Rita,

Oh how amazing she was. Fun, loving, smart, beautiful, active.  She gave me the best advise always.  I will miss her everyday. She was my confidant..

She taught me when I was 20 and first married that I MUST empty the dryer lint after every wash and dry.  She was over one time and I said to her I don't know what happened to my dryer.  It will not dry my clothes.  She opened up the lint dispenser and said "Honey, here is your problem"  I giggled, we giggled.  

Going to her apartment in Tustin was always fun.  I could not believe how she climbed those stairs at her age.  She was probably my age at the time 61 and at 21 I thought 61 was old.  NOT anymore ha ha.  Sorry Aunt Rita.  So young in spirit, body, mind, heart she was.  Stories she would share.

She loved her family beyond words.  Sisters, brothers, nieces, kids, grandkids, nephews, sons, Mom and Dad.  Oh she was something.  Amazing.  I loved going to her apartment.  She had quite a collection of high heels.  I loved that about her. Everytime I put on high heels, I think of Aunt Rita, and that is everyday. 

She wore her lipstick always, my Mom would bring it to her and probably Aunt Ruby, Sylvia, and Cecilia Jean too.  Always had her hair done.  A beauty.  A Dear Aunt to Love. 

I loved her Beetle Bug, RED.  That was the coolest car ever and she loved it to the end.  She loved her independence, her homes, apartments, dogs, family.  She was soooo neat and tidy.  Oh Aunt Rita I miss you so much already.  I will add your picture to my wall with my Dad and another friend of mine Carol who passed away a week before you.  My 3 loves will be up on my wall.  

I sit in my Dad's desk chair everyday, and I feel him hugging me.  I have a purse you gave me and I will think of you when I use it.  A pretty one.  Way back in your day style.  

Thank you for your love, devotion, unconditional love for me and everyone.  Your memory was stellar till the end dear one.  

Rest in Peace Aunt Rita, with your Mom, Dad, sisters, brothers, animals you loved, and I will see you someday my beautiful Aunt Rita.
