Veniore aka “Peep” or “Pete” as we all refer to him, has lived an uncompromising life on his own terms. He was fortunate to travel the US, and abroad, as a professional musician (Drummer)for over 30 years. One memorable time that Veniore spoke of was the time he spent traveling with the Bob Hope USO Tour, and going to Korea, where he saw the devastation that the nuclear explosion had left after the war. He later took on an additional career, working for the Veterans Administration, in Food and Nutrition Services, for over 20 years. He retired from the VA, with full benefits. After retirement, Veniore spent time on his favorite pass time, which was fishing, and spending time with his grand babies, which he enjoyed immensely.
Veniore also worked tirelessly as acting Deacon for the church, and contributed his musical talents, supporting the church choir for various churches that he attended throughout the years. He also volunteered for the church food ministry, feeding the homeless, and distributing groceries to those in need. In addition, he volunteered to drive the church bus to pick up food and bringing members to church. Veniore was always available to give a hand where ever it was required. Throughout his life he spread good vibes, truth, and courtesy to everyone he met, with a farewell greeting “to keep your head to the sky.” And now we know that he has another assignment in heaven, to keep watch over all of us.
From Your Wife
You are the most wonderful and kind man I have ever knew. When you became ill, I was devastated. We spent many days and years, shuffling back and forth from doctor to doctor, trying to figure out what went wrong. I was determined to figure this out. Unfortunately, it was not to be found.
You are the love of my life, the easiest person to be around. You were the humblest person I had every knew, with the biggest heart. You were good to me and good to your children and your family. You took care of us. You never complained about anything. We helped each other to become better people. You let me be me, and I let you be you. You supported me, and kept me safe. You sheltered me. You covered me. You were the miracle that God gave to me. You will be missed and forever be in my heart.
I Love You Forever
