Gloria Sue (Kirchoff) Junkins, 59, of Vincennes, passed unexpectedly Thursday at her residence. She was born in Vincennes the daughter of the late Nelson and Aline Lucille (Fredrick) Kirchoff and has been a lifelong area resident. Gloria worked at Johnson's Stop and Go Market and previously worked for many years at the Harbor House where she was a great help to the many women and children there. Her husband, Donnie Junkins preceded her in death in 2003.
Gloria leaves behind her son Dan (wife, Susannah) and a daughter Kim Junkins, a brother Mark Kirchoff and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home 505 Main Street. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from Noon until the service time at the funeral home.
