

Paul, a native of Lyons Point, LA, resided in Vinton for 57 years. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a Charter member of the Knights Of Columbus Council 6103. He was active in the Vinton High Athletic Club and civic organizations. Paul retired from Dupont(SRW) in 1992 after 38 years of service. He was an avid golfer and accomplished artist.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joyce Thibodeaux; sons, Mike Thibodeaux of Vinton and Pete Thibodeaux and wife Lana of Bridge City, TX; daughters,Leah Cook and husband Brad of Elkmont, AL, Annette Theriot and husband Craig of Vinton and Alison Scott and husband David of Montgomery, TX; sisters, Barbara Kibodeaux and husband Lucien of Vinton, Lena LeBlanc-Berger and husband John of Angleton, TX; brother-in-law, Thomas Kibodeaux of Lake Jackson,TX; nine grandchildren, Matthew Theriot, Chris Theriot and wife Desi, Amy Landry and husband Cody, Ryan Thibodeaux, Cade Scott, Stran Scott, Bradley Cook, Andy Cook and Kevin Cook and wife Jessica; seven great grandchildren, Peyton Landry, Emma Landry, Tanner Theriot, Emma Cook, Astride Cook, Ariana Cook, and Jacob Chambers.
Preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Kibodeaux; and parents, Aldes and Clodith Thibodeaux.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South of Carlyss. Visitation will be held in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton 3 - 8 p.m. Friday with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. and resume Saturday, 9 - 10:45 a.m. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
