She was a native of Dunn, Louisiana and had been a resident of Vinton for the last 62 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Vinton. Alma enjoyed cooking, crafting, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Dale LeBlanc and wife, Vickie of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; her grandchildren, Kaycie LeBlanc, Daniel LeBlanc, and Sarah LeBlanc; and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence John "L.J." LeBlanc; her son, Ken LeBlanc; her daughter Linda LeBlanc; daughter-in-law Deirdra LeBlanc; her parents, Killis Granville Nappier, Sr. and Alma Brown Nappier; and her siblings, James Lavelle Nappier, Tom "Tommy" Nappier, Killis Granville Nappier Jr., Leslie Long Nappier, Lawrence Rudolph Nappier, Hallen Granville Nappier, Sr., John Allen Nappier, Pauline Bennett, and Bertha Mae Arceneaux.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 18 at First Baptist Church, 1401 Center St in Vinton. Frank Courmier will officiate. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
