Calvin Lee "Butch" Woodard, Jr., 65, passed away on February 1, 2021 in a local hospital.

Butch was born on November 15, 1955 in Tachikawa, Japan and was raised in White Bluff, Tennesse. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He moved to Starks over 25 years ago. Butch was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water. He enjoyed cutting up with his friends and family. He loved dancing, laughing, country music and a cold beer.

Survivors include his wife, Kristy Woodard of Starks; his children, Summer Lynn Woodard Hillegass (Daniel) of Shelbyville, Tennesse, Jessica Leigh Woodard (Craig Tortorich) of Dickson, Tennesse, Calvin Lee Woodard III (Jordon) of White Bluff, Tennesse; step-son, Jonathan Menard of Beaumont, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and his brother, Michael Lee Woodard (Judy) of White Bluff, Tennesse.

Butch is preceded in death by, his parents, Calvin Lee Woodard, Sr. and Betty Ann Rediker.

A Celebration of Butch's Life will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 25th, 2021, in Hixson Vinton Funeral Home. Jody Barrilleaux will lead services. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Cremation is entrusted to Hixson Vinton Funeral Home.
