Cheryl Ann (Reeves) Renfrow, 68, of Vinton, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Beaumont, Texas. She retired from Delta Downs as a Supervisor at the Hotel. She was born to her late parents, Floyd and Ruby Reeves on November 16, 1954 in Orange, Texas. She attended and graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School, where she played basketball. She was a great bowler, with a 299 game. She was everybody's mama and loved everyone she came in contact with.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Lester Renfrow; two children, Sandy Martin (Michael) of Nederland, Texas and Randy Renfrow of Vinton, Louisiana; siblings, Floyd V. Reeves, Jr. of Orange, Texas, Ovie K. Reeves of Granite Shoals, Texas, Dorothy Lea Reeves Windham of Orange, Texas, and Debby Reeves Cordova of Orange, Texas; three grandchildren, Haley Martin-Ramirez, Daisy Martin, and Jackson Renfrow; great granddaughter, Harper Reign Ramirez; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Edward "Tony" Anthony Reeves; along with her nephew, Kelly Joe Cordova.
A Celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at First Baptist Church in Vinton, Louisiana on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10:00 am, with Bro. Ray Wells officiating, with the assistance of Bro. Jeff Anderson and Eulogy by Haley Ramirez. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church in Vinton, Louisiana on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume at the church on Friday, from 8:30 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Ida Wilson Cemetery in Orange, Texas at 11:45 am.
