Emory Lee Breaux, 88, died on Thursday, November 29, 2017 in Pine Hurst Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orange, Texas.

Emory was born in Port Arthur, Texas and has been a resident of Vinton for the pass 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and outdoors sports. He was a kind and caring man. He live his life to the fullest and had lots of friends.

He is survived by his children; Mona Burgess and husband Paul of Vinton, Kim Edward Breaux and wife Janice of Spring Branch, Texas, Jada Mancha and husband Frank of Vinton; daughter in law Delores Breaux; nine grandchildren and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by Michael Mancha and Bobby Breaux.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux will lead in his service. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at
