She worked at Davidson Chemical after high school and years later worked at and retired from Delta Downs Racetrack Clubhouse/Secretary. She was very involved with her children Cheryl, Jennifer and Keith during their school years with 4-H and band. She enjoyed anything to do with flowers, gardening, visiting with family and friends. She was a homebody and loved sitting outside watching birds and nature.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Guillory, father Julian Granger, mother Pearl Granger, daughter Cheryl Looney, son Kenneth Guillory, sister Jackie Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Wiley and husband Gary; and son Keith Guillory; grandchildren, Jodi Nowlin, Crystal Ortega, Danielle Bellamy, Zachary Guillory, Karra Guillory and Tommy Havard; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.on Friday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton with Rev. Carlos Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home, of Vinton.
