Hilda M Plummer

Hilda lived in Sulphur for the last 5 years and was a native of Vinton. She attended St Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton. Hilda was a member of the Catholic Daughters, the American Legion Auxillary, and was a Pink Lady at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Sulphur.

Survivors include her sons, Jason Wade Plummer and wife Jeannie of Houston, Texas, and John Clay Plummer and wife Marsha of Chandler, Arizona; sisters, Annie Lewis and Audrey Smart, and grandchildren, Josephine, Ruelah, Noah, and Grant Plummer.

She is preceeded in death by her husband, Gene Plummer.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 18, in St Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Susil Fernando will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary at 7 p.m., and from 8 a.m. until service Thursday, all at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to any hospital charity.
