James Carl Crawford

Carl was originally from Holly Springs, MS and lived in Vinton for over the past 20 years. His biggest passion was owning and training quarter horses for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Crawford, mother, Mary Faye Hurdle and husband, Percy, and two sisters, Pansy Meeks and Janice Barkley.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Crawford Tindall of Vinton, and Gini Crawford of Beaumont, TX; two grandchildren, Will Tindall and fiance', Paige Holland of Coldwater, MS and Paige Whatley and husband, Jake of Iowa, LA; three great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Austin, and Weston Whatley; a sister, Jo Fleming of Holly Springs, MS; and a brother, Boyce Crawford of Lamar, MS.

A gathering will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Hixson Funeral Home in Vinton, LA.
