Larry Eugene Maricle

Larry was a lifelong resident of the Edgerly/Vinton area. He worked in the oilfield industry for over 40 years and was employed with E&B Natural Resource Management Corp. Larry enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends and taking care of his animals. He never met a stranger and was known for his big and generous heart. Larry will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Bridget (Ty) Simon of Moss Bluff, LA; his siblings, Charlene (PeeWee) Kibodeaux of Edgerly, LA, Marlene Trahan of Vinton, LA, Rox-anna (Edward) Trahan of Vinton, LA, Jerry L. Maricle, Lou-Dell (Dennis) Dupuis of Ragley, LA; his grandchildren, Parker Simon, Bailey, Kade, and Kayla Midkiff, Chelsey White; step-grandchildren, Devin & Danyel Brown; 3 great-grandchildren; his step-daughters, Tara Ravenscroft & Jill Stevenson and their children; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his previous spouses, Darlene Miller and Marsha Maricle.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Russell Beard officiating. Interment will follow in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
