Aunt Laura always made you feel at home.
Every time I came by, Aunt Laura would either cook me something delicious or feed me something that was already waiting (pie or such) or she would send me home with one of her last jars of figs (just cause I said how much I liked them) . . . making me promise to come by and get another one next year . . . so I would visit again.
Aunt Laura was always good company and good conversation and such a charming manner . . . to put us all at ease . . . and with plenty of good advice, kindly given, if at all possible.
She made you want to be a better person . . . at least that's how I felt about her.
My Mom, Estelle Bruno/McCarthy, Loved Aunt Laura . . . and so did and do we all Love Her.
I'm thinking Aunt Laura has had a very good HomeComing . . . getting back together with all of those who have gone before Her . . . and Aunt Laura has had a good send-off as well, from our side.
It was good to be able to get there and to see everyone.
May we all be so fortunate one-day . . . to have lived a good Life, as Aunt Laura . . . and Believed in HIM WHO made us . . . following in HIS Footsteps . . . a Faithful Servant . . . Laura following also in the footsteps of Her own good mother, Grandma Benoit, who I am sure was there to meet her.
GOD Bless us all.

What a wonderful loving and fun family I was blessed to be born into. I will always have fun memories of the reunions, dancing, good people, good cooks and great food! For many years, I was the only redhaired Benoit..as Grandma said. They worked hard, played hard and prayed hard! Bless you all.
