Martha "Meme" Ann Broussard
July 29, 1947 – March 11, 2023

Martha Ann "Meme" Broussard, 75, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in a local hospice.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Vinton. Martha worked for many years with West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital and Sulphur Surgical Clinic. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Alvin Broussard of Vinton; her daughter, Katrina Trahan and husband, Todd of Vinton; her siblings, Ronnie Mott of Sulphur, Doris Toups of Orange, Texas, and Barbara Courville of Vinton; and her grandchildren, Emily Trahan and Molly Trahan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 16, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton. The Rev. Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday with a Rosary service at 6 p.m. and will resume at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
