Mary Alice Douget

Mary’s life was marked by a steady generosity and kind-hearted spirit that showed in the simple, faithful way she cared for others. Her compassion was constant, and her love was evident in the warmth she brought to everyday moments. A gentle jokester at heart, she had a way of easing the room.

Mary devoted much of her life to her home and family as a homemaker, in her younger years she drove trucks. She found joy in the simple, meaningful pleasures of life such as knitting, painting, and cooking, as well as traveling and taking vacations. Above all, she treasured her time spent with family and friends, offering her presence with a loving steadiness that will be deeply missed.

Preceding Mary in death is her loving husband of 35 years, Michael Douget; her parents; and her brothers, Noah Wilburn Jr. and Rick “Buck” Wilburn.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Margie Ferrer; her stepchildren: Tim Douget, Tearsa Hutchens and Tristain Dodd; bonus grandchildren: Miranda, Courtney, Phillip, Dakota, Rebeka, Makennah, Ethan, Riley, and Aaron; and nieces: Alyssa Wilburn, Ruthie Jankowiak and Connie Wright. She also leaves behind her beloved pets: Barry the cat and Lu-Lu the dog.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love expressed through everyday kindness, compassion offered without hesitation, and generosity that asked for nothing in return. She will be deeply missed and respectfully remembered.
