Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was formerly an operating room technician for Christus St. Patrick Hospital and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Drake and husband, David of Nowata, OK; nieces, Katrina Hudson and husband, Robert of Houston, TX, and Kristie Doyle and husband, Brian of Bartlesville, OK; nephew, Clifford Drake of Richmond, VA; five great nieces and two great nephews.
Her service will be 11am, Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation will begin Saturday at 8am with a rosary at 9am. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
