Myron Dupree East II

Myron Dupree East II, 48, of Vinton passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. He was born in Sulphur on May 14, 1977 to Myron and Sharon East. Myron was a simple man who enjoyed hunting for arrowheads, playing pool, riding his bike, watching the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his birds and his dog, Rock.

He is survived by his father, Myron East I of Sulphur; children, Alyssa East and Tristan East of Houston, Texas, Zachary East of Alexandria, Louisiana and Joseph East of Beaumont, Texas; grandson, Vaughn Wagnone; grandmother, Joan Caswell; sisters, Juanita East of Lake Charles and Jennifer East of Sulphur; brother, Jordan East of Sulphur; and step-brothers, Damon Gaspard, Josh Gaspard and B.J. Caughhorn.

Myron is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Caswell; grandfather, Shirley Caswell and granddaughter, Coraline Wagnone.

Cremation has been entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Memories, words of comfort and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.hixsonvinton.com.
