Noma Bellow, 91, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 in her daughter's residence. She was a native of Ladonia, Texas and was a longtime resident of Vinton. Noma was a member of First Baptist Church of Vinton and was a Gold Star Mother of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. She enjoyed doing crafts and gardening flowers. Survivors include two daughters, Mona Steen of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Canddise Matchette and husband, James of Vinton; two sons, H. Leo Evans and wife, Sheila of Heath, Texas and Jackie Evans of Houston, Texas; daughter-in-law, Carol Evans of Springtown, Texas; one brother, Dale Walker of Denton, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three sons, Joe, Alfred, and Tommy Evans. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service.

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a good person and always had a smile for me when we were growing up. I know there is nothing I can say to make your loss any easier other than I know we will see them all again one day. You and your family will be in my prayers.

I was saddened to hear of Ms. Noma's passing. She was such a joy to visit with her. I will miss her dearly. Thanks for being such a sweet lady. To her family, my prayers are with you.
