Ronald Leslie Warner, 69, of Vinton, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was born on October 15, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. “Hippy” enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, loved studying History, flying airplanes before even receiving his driver's license, racing race cars, and he was a truck driver for much of his adult life. Ronald was a die hard New Orleans Saints fan. He was proud of his service in the United States Army, where he ended up being a drill sergeant. Most of all, he loved his family very much. He was particularly fond of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Angie Warner; mother, Carolyn Lumert of Houston, Texas; children, Ron Warner of Houston, Texas, Harley Warner (Holly) of Vinton, Louisiana, Kimberly Styron (Chase Doucet) of Vinton, Louisiana, Rhonda Warner of Vinton, Louisiana, and Dusty Majors (Holden) of Alabama; sisters, Karla Mount (Kim) of Colorado and Lori Blackmon-Schroeder (Darryl) of Houston, Texas; along with eight grandchildren, Aubrey, Haydn, Tyler, Hadley, Jolie, Arielle, Kinleigh, and Hayes.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Ray Warner; along with his brother, Keith Warner.
A Celebration of Ronald's life will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Vinton, Louisiana on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 12:00 pm, with Hixson Celebrant Jody Tyler. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am until the time of the service.
