Samuel R. Doiron

Samuel was a Starks Native who enjoyed building things, remodeling and working in his yard.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Doiron of Starks; Nicole Richards and her husband Jason, of Tyler, Texas; brothers, Douglas Doiron of Starks and David Peck and his wife Patsy, of Orange, Texas; sisters, Sandy Drouillard of Starks, Bertha Barlow and her husband Eddy, of Toledo Bend, Texas, Mary Guidry and her husband Charlie, of Jasper, Texas, and Vicki Johnson and her husband Sam, of Starks; grandchildren, Carson, Colton and Nixon Kate; nieces, Taryn, Shelly, Crystal, Courtney, Jacelyn and Amber; and nephews, Taylor, Ronnie, Trey, Chuck and Jimmy.

He is preceded in death by his son Sam; and his parents Samuel and Lola Doiron.

His Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The Rev Bobby Daniels will officiate. Burial will be in Miller Annex Cemetery.
