Sharlene Marie Bruno

She was a native and lifelong resident of Vinton. Sharlene was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was an amazing cook, had a great sense of humor, and loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Survivors include her children, Charles Keith Bruno, Stacie Bruno and Thomas Prestwood, Vickie Bruno Vice and husband, Michael, and John Eric Bruno and wife Melissa, all of Vinton; her brothers, Luvless Paul Landry, Jr. of Vinton and Robert Lionel Landry of Orangefield, Texas; ten grandchildren, Jude Bruno and wife, Amber, Tasha Bruno, Tyler Bruno and wife, Leah, Kinley Abshire and husband, Tim, Lauren Bruno, Kenneth Phelps, Emilee Brasuell and husband, Cody, Shawn Prestwood, Chance Vice and Chelsea Vice; and great-grandchildren, Sawyer Bruno, Griffin Bruno, Levi Bruno, Raygan Brooks, Kaydan Brooks, Cohen Brasuell, and Rowen Brasuell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. "Mohawk" Bruno; and her sister, Margaret Jeanette Landry.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 18, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Pallbearers will be Tim Abshire, Cody Brasuell, Tyler Bruno, Tommy Landry, Kenneth Phelps, and Arlen Ferris.
