I had the pleasure of working with Shawn during the 2010 Spring Meet at Churchill Downs. I was the young lady in charge of opening and closing the 46 gap to let the riders on and off the track. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Shawn was a really nice guy! I used to have an apartment by him when I lived in Vinton and he was always so sweet. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask and he would help out. I am saddened to hear of his passing. I know he is in Heaven riding the finest racing horses God ever created. RIP BRASSEAUX!
