Timothy L Courvelle

He was a native of Vinton and attended St Joseph Catholic Church. He worked as an oilfield operator for Kaiser-Frances Oil Well Services.

Survivors include his loving wife Debra Courvelle of Vinton; mother, Irene Courvelle of Vinton; sons Jeremiah Courvelle and wife Casey of Vinton, and Brandon Courvelle and wife Summer of Lumberton, Texas; daughter Natasha Vallery and husband Morgan of Vinton; step sons, Chris Matthews and wife Mariceaux of Orange, Texas, Jonathan Naegele of Deweyville, Texas, and Tanner Depwe of Port Arthur, Texas; daughter, step daughter Melita Naegele of Houston, Texas; brother, Keith Courvelle and wife Penney of Grand Chenere; sisters Patricia Albany and husband Cary of Nome, Texas, and Kayla Foreman and husband Jimmy of Vinton; and 19 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lester Courvelle.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The Rev. Roland Vaughan will officiate. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
