VINTON - Wilda Mae Boudreaux, 69, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2013 in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness
She was a longtime Vinton resident and a former employee of Delta Downs. Wilda was member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and had made a Cursillo.
Survivors include her sister, Laura O'quain and husband William Cass of Sulphur; brother, Melvin Royer and his wife Nell of Vinton; and numerous Godchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clovis Boudreaux, Jr.; parents, Domel and Eulalia Royer; and sister, Wilma Boudreaux.
A Mass of Christian burial will at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Vinton. The Rev. Susil Fernando will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be held in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton on Tuesday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m and will resume Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of service.
