Bjorn G. Bache, 83, passed away March 2, 2013. He was born on Feb. 26, 1930 in Princeton, NJ to the late Bjorn "Ole" and Anna Bache. Mr. Bache honorably served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a long-time resident of Chestnut Hill, PA, where he worked at the Wissahickon Skating Club for more than 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his sister Gloria Hendrickson and her husband Gavin.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Carol Bache; son, Christopher Bache and wife Debbie; daughter, Lori Bacon and husband James; grandchildren, James Bacon Jr., Gwen Murray and her family; and nephews, Daron Hendrickson, Eric Hendrickson and his family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
