My thoughts and prayers are with all in Brian's family.  My hope is that the grief you all share would draw you closer to our Lord and to each other and that your grief will turn into healing and joy.

Brian was my right hand. Always there for me at the hardest times. When he finished Basic training at Great Lakes we did Chicago and went to the 1991 Indy 500. He loved his work and served his country well.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Brian Smiley.  My heartfelt condolences go to his wife, children, family and friends.  Brian was a good guy who served our great country in many ways.  He will be missed.

Melissa, I was devastated to here of Brian's passing.  I worked with him at DRS, practically from the day he started there.  We had a lot of good times over the years.  We continued to work alongside one another when he went to Lockheed and I shared his office when I went to Damneck after he went Government.  One memory I have and cherish was when a waitress at Kelly's in Greenbiar asked Brian if I was his Dad.  We always got a good chuckle out of that one.  We were comparing cancer treatments on May 11th and discussed going out to lunch.  I will greatly miss him.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Brian's passing. Brian was a good man and a dear friend.  My prayers are with his wife, children, and all his loved ones.  I will miss him and his endearing friendship always.
