She was born in Guanajuato, Mexico. She was a midwife and nurse, always in service of others from a very young age.
She married the love of her life Kenneth Baxley in 1967, and soon created her large and loving family instilling a strong sense of faith and devotion.
She became an integral part of the Catholic Hispanic Community, always working to increase the community, and help those in need. She was a woman of strong convictions, she stood firmly for what was right and lived according to her Catholic principles. Her faith was not something she simply professed - it was evident in the way she loved, gave, forgave, and cared for those around her. She faithfully sought to honor God and our blessed Mother in all that she did and encouraged others to draw closer to them through her example.
As a mother she was a precious gift from God. She nurtured her family with unconditional love, wisdom, and guidance rooted in her Catholic faith. Her children and loved ones were blessed by her prayers, her strength, and her unwavering belief that God would provide through every challenge.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Kenneth Baxley; her children Carmen Levene Baxley, Kenneth Baxley Jr, Leslie Baxley, Leigh Ranjel, Danny Baxley, Sheila Loveless, Estevan Baxley; and 14 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter MaryLou Deleon and many cherished loved ones who welcomed her home.
We thank God for the blessing of her life, for the love she shared, and for the enduring legacy of faith she leaves behind. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit, her example, and her love remain forever in our hearts.
