Clara Marie Moran, 63, passed away on November 16, 2018. She was born on March 30, 1955 to Ella F. and Edward Anderson in Danville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her husband William Raymond Lucas and her brother Edward F. Anderson.
Clara joined the Navy in 1981, where she met and married her first husband Roy Terrell. On July 2, 1985 their son Scott was born. In 2007 she met her late husband William Raymond Lucas (Bill). They married in 2008. In December of 2015 she was diagnosed with breast cancer after losing Bill to bone cancer in January of that year. After Bill passed, she spent her time going to the Moose Lodge and the VFW.
Clara had two dreams as a child, one was to be a mom and the other was to live in a brick house in Virginia Beach. In 1985 her first dream was fulfilled and the in 2008 her second dream was fulfilled when she moved into her home. She loved her grand-babies, Rachel and Scott, her phone, watching Days of Our Lives, shopping and getting her hair and nails done. She loved spending time with friends, eating at Captain Georges and IHOP. Clara also loved getting and doing stuff for her grand-babies most of all.
She is survived by her son Kenneth Scott Terrell and his wife Rachel Ann Terrell; brothers Woodrow T. Anderson, Dewey Logan (Buddy), and James E. Anderson; sisters Linda J. Pigg, Ella M. McDowell, Eva J. Wheeler, Naomi C. Whited and Darline Barnette; and four grandchildren, Dylan T. Jensen, David V. Terrell, Devin S. Terrell and Declan S. Terrell.
