Clemencia Devera Ramos

Clemencia Devera Ramos, 54, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2010 after a long illness. She was born on July 11, 1956 in the Philippines the daughter of Benjamin Devera and the late Asuncion Dulay. Clemencia was an amazing cook and she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of the Filipino Women’s Club of Tidewater and UIAT.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved and devoted husband of 33 years, Abraham B. Ramos of Virginia Beach and her sons, Steven James Ramos of Virginia Beach and Adrian Keith Ramos of Chesapeake; her father, Benjamin Devera of the Philippines; brothers, Rufino Mapile of California and Danny Devera of the Philippines; sisters, Lorna Mendoza , and Jean Coloma, both of California and numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, with a wake service starting at 7:00 PM by Fr. Tim Kuneman. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 10:00 AM, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church by Father Leo Manalo.
