From Virginia Beach to greens of Carolina Cliff was always the man. The golf trips were important to so many people over the years but nothing was more important to Cliff than family and friends. Our deepest condolences to the Creek Family. 

I have always thought you were one of the happiest  persons I've known.
When you started coming to our house when you came to San Diego we all looked forward to your visits. I was around 13 then. We would stay up late watching TV and eating bologna sandwiches.  After you & Terri came to Ca. It was always fun when the whole family came to Mom & Dad's house for Christmas..  So many wonderful memories. The sadness I feel can't compare to what your family is feeling.  You are leaving a big footprint behind that will never be filled. I will miss your "HI CUZ" when you would call.  I know there are plenty of friends & family that welcomed you in heaven and love you., but you are leaving behind so many that love you and made our world just that much  better.. God Bless you Skip and Terri, Tina, Tammy & Corey.




What can I say about my Pop. Well that is a lot, he was a amazing father, a superman, he could build anything, fix anything including my broken bones, always singing and dancing and laughing he was the kind of dad that, books are written about. Pop could walk into the room yelling Jim, Jim I have a question, now this question could be just bring up the sheep in the rain, or hill sheep, or even rakes whatever the subject was we would start to laugh and then have to talk about it again like it was new. It is safe to say I got my sense of humor from him. There will never be another person to even come close to filling the void he has left in this world. Until we all are able to be joined again, I am so grateful to have had the honor of being your daughter, that is a title I will treasure. I do know Heaven got a whole lot brighter, and I am sure you are telling everyone your stories, and arranging a T-time as we speak.

Cliff was the MAN!  He was always smiling and made you feel at home.  The life of the party and a positive influence on everyone he met.  The Cliff Creek Classic has moved upstairs!!!

Frank and I are so shaken by Uncle Cliff's  passing!  He was so loved by everyone and will never be forgotten.  They say we all leave memories behind for our loved ones.... luckily we have many!  With our Zdon families "gift of gab", we will continue to talk about him and keep his memory alive for decades to come!  I will think of him every time I eat popcorn, and Frank will toast to him with every nightcap!  He, Dad, Jimmy,  Sherry and more are definitely enjoying a Polish Feast up there, for sure !   

My Prayers and Condolences to the Creek Family on Cliff's passing.  I was saddened to hear the news.  I knew Cliff from the AMSEC days and became a regular participant, once I found out about the annual Cliff Creek Golf Classic.  I always looked forward to the 4-day 36-holes-a-day marathon every April, particularly the camaraderie between the "Old Guard" and the "Newbees".  I was usually able to play at least one round with Cliff and fun was had by all throughout the event rain or shine.   I was never quite sure how Cliff always managed to score well with his..."unique" golf swing..., but he always seemed to be able to get that critical birdie when a "skin" was involved!  Somehow, I suspect he is already getting a 4-some together as we speak.

Cliff was a great guy on and off the course and will be greatly missed.

My heart just aches knowing I will never hear the words, "Hey Bud," or "Where in the United States of America are you currently?" because you knew how much I disliked when a sentence was ended with "at"!  

You were "my person"... the one I needed to talk to when life got too heavy or I needed advice.  I am so grateful that God chose you as my dad because I learned what unconditional love truly meant.  Watching you and mom together, dancing in the kitchen or in the headlights of the car in the driveway was always such a treat and are memories I will treasure forever.  

I know you fought valiantly against the evil known as COVID but your fight must have been lessened from all those battles with crocodiles!  If you knew my dad like me and my brother and sister did, you heard the story many times of how he battled and won against a crocodile.  I loved listening to your jokes, especially about shearing sheep in the rain and planting rakes for security.  You always had such a engaging smile that immediately set people at ease and drew them in.  Our home growing up was always the place to be and you loved hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt every year.  

To say we are devastated by your loss would be an understatement. Terri, I know this journey will be the most difficult of your life. But know that Carl and I will be with you to help in any way that we can. Cliff was one of a kind. For forty years, we have laughed and cried together. We have watched each other’s children and grandchildren grow. We have so many memories from our birthday group, anniversary dinners, ringing our doorbell several times before entering. Nags Head vacations and let’s not forget our trip to Florida, laughing hysterically. Christmas Eve, Easter Egg hunts with little kids and big kids and the lottery tickets. Carl and Cliff always joking around, dancing together. I could go on and on. But know that we loved him. We will think of him often and smile.

I/ We had lots of fun.....enjoyed visiting Skip and Terri  at their home with sister.Roberta Nelson. Also,when they visited Bertie here.  We had lots of laughs toghether.

Skip, you are my big brother, my protector and my friend. Growing up you got all of us out of a lot of trouble that we got into.  You have always been there for your family. I will miss you terribly but I know you will watch over us until the day we will all meet again. I love you bro!

“Hello granddaughter, this is your Popop speaking” phone calls will never be the same without hearing this from you. 

My heart is completely shattered I have lost my best friend, my terrible dance partner and my voice of wisdom and reason. Life will truly never be the same without you in it. Life is going to be different, oatmeal Sunday’s will never be the same, foot rubs when we are watching tv in the evening, eggs and potatoes, randomly dancing around the house or hearing your sweet voice since to use. Those are just the little things that I will miss... I have confront in knowing you are watching over all of us and will be with us always. Give everyone a hug for me and I know you knew this, but I love you so much. 

Keep golfing and drinking those hot toddy’s, and please keep dancing!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Cliff’s passing.  I worked with Cliff when he was with AMSEC.  Such a great man, always cheerful and always a smile on his face!  He could always bring your spirts up with his presence.  When my son was at PAMiddle, Terrie worked there and she always kept an eye out on my son, Ryan...

Almost 16 years ago our 2 kids moved to Virginia Beach. They immediately met Cliff and Terri who lived next door. I was very worried about my kids being in a new, busy place but once I met Cliff and Terri I knew they would be okay. Cliff was just a big lovable fun guy and I knew he would keep an eye out for them, Terri too. Over the years we became good friends with Cliff and Terri.  Thinking of Cliff always puts a smile on my face because he was lovable, fun and loved to entertain with his great dance moves.

My big brother, the head of our family for so many years.  It is difficult to put in words what he was to me.  He was always there after our dad passed at such an early age.  He gave me away at my wedding, I am heartbroken.  He will be missed so very much, the sun dimmed for our family.  Bertie

Our prayers go out to the Creek family.  Cliff (Skip to cousins) was a great person.  He could make you smile and was always very cheerful. Our family is so thankful that Terri and Skip visited us last year.  We talked about all the good times we had growing up with all the cousins.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  Rest in peace dear cousin, till we meet again.

So sorry for your loss.  I met you guys through  Joe and Christy.  We didnt see you much . But Cliff  always had a smile and  made you laugh.  He will be  missed  , but will always be in your heart and  memories.  . My love and Prayers for all of you.
