Almost one year and we sorely miss David every day. He was very unique, and a blast to work with. Hope you all are finding  some peace. David will never be forgotten by the y family.

It's been 20 years since I last saw David, but I have quite a few fond memories from back when we were in high school.  I'm so sorry to hear about his passing... I will always remember him joking around and laughing.

Dave was funny guy at 15 when I first met him when he hung out with my sister and Doug. I ran into him later as an adult funny still and we talked rescue. I have many great memories. God Bless and keep you. We love you and miss you.

David,you have been my yoga teacher since I moved here from New York almost two years ago. John and I would go every Saturday to your class and you will be missed in our hearts. Remember you always said in class to think of someone that puts a smile on your face,well that someone will always be you now. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts. I am so deeply saddened by David's death and your loss of a son and brother, my prayers go with you in this difficult time.  I will miss David and his yoga class "for normal people" along with all of his quips and  jokes. Saturday mornings will forever be changed for me, there is no other yoga class like it. I met David at the Y where we worked together, I only knew him about 5 months, but I felt I knew him much longer. He always had a smile and something nice to say.He was a great cycling instructor. My deepest and sincere sympathy goes to the Hildman family..

I remember our sunday morning rides.  Especially towards the end when we would sprint as hard as we can and, as usual, he would win.  I made him earn it, though.  He even twisted my arm a handful of times to be a volunteer when he directed the bike portion of a race.  Dave is a class act, and he will be sorely missed.

My sincerest condolences on your tragic loss.  I didn't know David personally, but I know his absence will be sorely felt by the family and community.  I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

I could write pages of all of my memories with Dave.  He truly had a gift of bringing a smile to everyones face, even if they were just a stranger on the street.  He always put all of us first whether in class or in everyday life.  His smile and sarcasm and love will never be matched.

David was the first spin instructor I had, and by far the best. Every Tuesday he made class so enjoyable...always fun and happy. He will be greatly missed by many.

I keep thinking about David with sadness. I have a hard time going to the Y because he is no longer there. Nobody will teach the way he taught. We will miss our training buddy & friend and his tremendous spirit and energy.
