Deborah Lynn Courtney-Grey

Debi was born on February 6, 1956, in Suffolk, Virginia to the late Herbert and Rosemarie Courtney. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonja Ansbach and granddaughter, Madeline Cousineau.

Survivors include her loving husband of twenty-four years, Gary Grey; daughters, Courtney Kennedy of Newport News, VA and Ashley Grey of Chesapeake, VA; a son, Gary Bryan Grey of Louisiana; a brother, Wayne Courtney of Suffolk, VA; and lifelong best friends: Kathy Woodyard, Diana Bickens, Karen Nixon and Sherry Riser; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2:00 pm at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at the Grey home located at 1429 Battlefield Blvd South, Chesapeake, VA 23322 following the Service.
