Dorothy Reid Cartwright

Dorothy R. Cartwright, 91, passed away on October 3, 2018. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Matthew and Minnie Reid but lived in Norfolk for the last 68 years. Dot was a member of Azalea Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Jarvis Cartwright; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are 2 daughters, Lois Dustin and Nancy Williams (Lawrence); 2 sons, Matthew Cartwright (Wendy) and Bill Cartwright (Kathy); sister-in-law Faye Moore (Herbert); 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to your favorite Charity.
