Obituary of Dustin Michael Dakota Massengill
Dustin Michael Dakota Massengill of Virginia Beach, VA, left our lives on June 6, 2021 at his home in Silverdale, WA. He was just 26 years old and was one of the most vibrant people you’d ever meet. With a single smile, joke, or just his presence alone he would illuminate a room. Dustin was a loving husband, son, nephew, cousin, uncle, and brother. He was a man who would have given you the shirt off his back if he needed to, no questions asked. His Jordans though was a different story all together. He loved life and everyone that knew Dustin loved him. He always lit up a room when he walked in with his infectious smile. Dustin has reunited with his Pop and they are fishing in Heaven. He graduated from Landstown High School in 2013. Dustin proudly served his country honorably in the United States Navy as a Second Class Petty Officer onboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and then on shore duty. He had an inner strength about him that was unbreakable. While he might have been hard to get to, when it came to loving someone he did more than 100%. He loved whole heartedly. Dustin was selfless, kind, forgiving, but most of all Dustin was Dustin, a very unique person. After you met him you would never forget him. Dustin leaves behind a heart broken family. The remembrance of Dustin Massengill will forever be in our minds and hearts. Dustin is survived by his wife Jasmyne Justus Massengill, Debra Massengill, Dusty Hale, Dale & Gloria Massengill and their children Bryce and Callie Anne, Kristin & Forrest Monty and their children Makenzie and Morgan, Gramps & Grams, John Newman, Richard Blum. Dustin’s Brothers For Life: Bryan, Bryce, Ryan, Roger, Caleb. Adora, Brooklyn, Eva.
